According to Jinshi reports, the dollar index, which measures the dollar against six major currencies, rose by 0.22% on May 4, closing at 98.377 in the foreign exchange market. 1 euro exchanged for 1.1692 dollars, down from 1.1731 dollars the previous trading day; 1 pound exchanged for 1.3534 dollars, down from 1.3589 dollars the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 157.24 yen, up from 157.02 yen the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 0.7836 Swiss francs, up from 0.7811 Swiss francs the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 1.3611 Canadian dollars, up from 1.3587 Canadian dollars the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 9.2861 Swedish kronor, up from 9.2172 Swedish kronor the previous trading day.
