According to Jinshi reports, the dollar index, which measures the dollar against six major currencies, rose by 0.3% on April 21, closing at 98.393 in the foreign exchange market. 1 euro exchanged for 1.1744 dollars, down from 1.1782 dollars the previous trading day; 1 pound exchanged for 1.3508 dollars, down from 1.3536 dollars the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 159.35 yen, up from 158.87 yen the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 0.7808 Swiss francs, up from 0.7786 Swiss francs the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 1.366 Canadian dollars, up from 1.3643 Canadian dollars the previous trading day; 1 dollar exchanged for 9.1746 Swedish kronor, up from 9.1269 Swedish kronor the previous trading day.
