BlockBeats News, December 4th, Financial blockchain network Canton Network developer Digital Asset has completed a new round of $50 million financing, with participation from BNY Mellon, Nasdaq, S&P Global, and iCapital.

This financing follows a previous round of $135 million earlier this year, led by DRW Venture Capital and Tradeweb Markets, with participation from market makers such as Citadel Securities, IMC, and Optiver.

Canton Network aims to process financial transactions, allowing users to determine which information needs to be kept confidential, and is emerging as a strong option for asset tokenization. Asset tokenization is the process of issuing and transferring traditional assets such as stocks and bonds using blockchain technology.
