Web3-enabled game tech Beamable has joined forces with AI game tech provider Upheaval Games. Together the two are set to advance AI-driven game development, with Upheaval helping developers build their games using genAI, and Beamable providing the live game infrastructure needed to scale. With its AI-driven platform Dreamer, Upheaval provides AI-powered game dev tools including adaptive agents who evolve alongside players. Through this partnership, Beamable will combine Dreamer’s generative tools with its own backend system, bringing AI-generated game content into the context of live service games. AI will power everything from dynamic player data analysis and in-game economies to syncing authored content across game sessions, regions, and updates, to the point where no DevOps are required. Beamable CEO Jon Radoff commented, “The real promise of AI in games isn’t just about content creation – it’s about connection. When generative tools like Dreamer meet backend systems like Beamable, we unlock the ability to build living, responsive game worlds that adapt to every player in real time.” Upheaval Games president Jeff Goodsill commented, “Our mission with Dreamer is to remove friction from the creative process and empower developers to focus on storytelling, world-building, and player experience.” “Beamable’s infrastructure complements that mission perfectly – making it possible to take what creators build in Dreamer and deliver it directly into the hands of players with scale, speed, and stability.”
